Discover Disney World’s Newest Attraction
Recently, AMA Travel received a peculiar piece of mail. It arrived in a small black box marked, “You’re invited.”
The curious invitation — sent to only one travel agency in Western Canada, us! — opened to reveal a digital screen that played this video message:
What’s New at Walt Disney World
Welcome to the magical world of Pandora — The World of Avatar.
Set to open to the public on May 27, 2017, the newest addition to Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom Park has spawned excitement from across the globe.
Spanning 5-hectares of land (that’s approximately 33 NHL-sized hockey rinks!), Pandora — The World of Avatar provides guests with a jaw-dropping, all-senses-evoking, immersive experience.
“We’ve had this group sit down and try to understand: what would Pandora really look like?” explained Vice President of Animal, Science and Environment of Disney Parks, Dr. Mark Penning — when discussing how the park creators drew their inspiration.
“How would it feel? What sounds would you hear if you were taking a nature trail along Pandora?” he said.
Well, we are about to find out.
Discover the World of Pandora
Seeking answers to these questions and so many more, AMA Travel is sending a trusty team member down to Orlando next week to explore the magical world of Pandora before the gates open.
Join Brittney — AMA Travel’s social media specialist — on May 24, as she wanders through Pandora’s gravity-defying mountains, lush forests, mystical rivers, and waterfalls.
As the only travel agency in Western Canada that has been invited to attend this sneak peek of the park, AMA Travel is excited to share all our discoveries with YOU.
Follow us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, as we encounter a Na’vi Shaman, float down the sacred river hidden deep inside the bioluminescent rainforest, and experience what it is like to ride on a Banshee over Pandora.
While Brittney is preparing for her mission, we want to hear from you! Have questions about Walt Disney World, Animal Kingdom Park, or Pandora? Send us a Tweet or Facebook message, and we’ll assign Brittney to the case!
