South Africa Guided Vacation | AMA Travel

Week 7 Prize: Spectacular South Africa Guided Vacation (13 Days)

South Africa is one of the world’s most diverse countries. There aren’t too many places where you can experience yawning lions, swirling deserts, old-growth forests, gorgeous beaches, and bustling cities all in one.

Victoria Falls

At a relaxed pace, explore the best of South Africa—a country brimming with incredible food, wine, and landscapes. Learn about the rise and fall of apartheid and walk the streets where Nelson Mandela was arrested. Get your camera ready as you search out the “Big 5” (elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, rhino) on an open-air safari game drive. Take a lagoon cruise and enjoy lunch among ancient milkwood trees. End your adventure with a few days in Cape Town, the beautiful coastal metropolis full of culture and amazing dining (ostrich stew is surprisingly delicious).

And while you’re there, you may choose to add an extension in Victoria Falls.
